The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) is investigating an armed robbery reported at approximately 12:55 a.m. in the 2900 block of Georgia Ave., NW.

A lookout has been established for three Black males who approached the scene in a gray SUV. One suspect displayed a handgun and took the complainant's keys and wallet. They fled westbound on Hobart St, NW. Preliminary details of the investigation suggest that the complainant and suspected individuals are not affiliated with Howard University.

Crime Alert - Armed Carjacking

The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) is investigating an armed carjacking reported at approximately 5:30 a.m. in the 2500 block of Sherman Ave., NW.

A lookout has been established for two to three Black men who approached the scene in a white Honda. They were last seen heading southbound on Sherman Ave. in a gray Toyota Prius with Virginia license plates #TVA2017. Preliminary details of the investigation suggest that the complainant and suspected individuals are not affiliated with Howard University.

The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) is investigating an attempted armed carjacking reported at approximately 2:00 a.m. in the 2600 block of Georgia Ave., NW.

A lookout has been established for three Black males wearing black attire and dark masks. Two of the men are armed with guns, and the group fled the scene in a white Hyundai Sonata with Virginia license plates #TVL5022. Preliminary details of the investigation suggest that the complainant and suspected individuals are not affiliated with Howard University.

One suspect is described as a Black male wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt carrying a bag with a gun inside of it. A lookout has been ordered for three Black males traveling in a dark vehicle of an unknown make and model. Preliminary details of the investigation suggest that the complainant and suspected individuals are not affiliated with Howard University.

Two non-Howard affiliated individuals were approached while sitting in a black Mitsubishi Outlander with Virginia tags #TRK9374. A lookout has been ordered for a silver Honda Civic with a driver and a passenger.

Two students residing in off-campus housing reported being robbed of wallets and other personal property by a Black male. The suspect is described as 5'5" in height with dark-complexioned skin tone and wearing a black mask.
