Crime Alert - Shooting, Attempted Robbery
The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) is investigating a shooting reported at approximately 4:42 a.m. in the 2300 block of Sherman Ave., NW.
Two non-Howard affiliated individuals were approached while sitting in a black Mitsubishi Outlander with Virginia tags #TRK9374. A lookout has been ordered for a silver Honda Civic with a driver and a passenger.
Please avoid the roped area of investigation from Sherman Ave. to Barry Place and Euclid St. If you have information about this incident, please contact the HU Department of Public Safety (DPS) at 202-806-1100 or call 911 to reach MPD.
