Public Sex Offender Registry Information
Howard University students, faculty and staff by law have the right to obtain information regarding registered sex offenders who work and live in the immediate area of the university. The Sex Offender Registration Act of 1999 gives authorization to provide this information to the community. Be advised, the misuse of this information to commit a crime against a registered sex offender, engage in harassment or any other illegal activity is against the law and punishable. To obtain this information contact the Metropolitan Police Department, Sex Offender Registry Unit for general information.
