Armed Carjacking
The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) is actively investigating an armed carjacking that occurred this morning at approximately 1:40 a.m. in the 2100 block of 9th Street NW.
The complainant is not affiliated with Howard University, and the vehicle stolen is a black or dark blue 2009 BMW bearing MD license plate # 7EB3241. A lookout has been issued for two male suspects armed with a handgun who exited a white Q35 Infinity with Texas license plates. Plate numbers are unavailable at this time.
Both vehicles were last seen traveling southbound on 9th Street NW.

- Use the Shuttle Service to avoid traveling on foot across campus during the hours of darkness.
